- ABN Lookup: Every legitimate business should have an Australian Business Number (ABN). Always look them up to confirm they’re a registered business. You can check this at the Australian Government ABN Lookup.
- Public Liability Insurance: If they don’t have it, they’re not a professional—and they might not have the protection you need in case something goes wrong.
- Proof: Check their reviews on Google, Easy Weddings, ABIA, or Facebook. If you don’t see reviews, there’s likely a reason—they could have bad reviews that were hidden.

- Quick to Respond: If they take more than a week to respond (or longer during peak season), it’s a sign they might be unprofessional or overwhelmed.
